If I let it sit on the loading screen for about 20 minutes, it seems to load into the map. When I choose a map to play on, or go to create a map or the asset editor, it always loads to a certain point and freezes. Here is the info from the devinfo.txt file I can include my dxdiag report if you want me to. I have an nVidia GeForce GT 540m 1gb video card built in with the Intel Graphics card as well. I thought that might be the problem, but it didn't seem to make any difference. I am using an I-7 Laptop and tried what was suggested in this thread below. I have tried changing the video settings and it makes no difference. It does the same thing if I try to go to the map editor or the asset editor. I have to bring up Windows Task Manager to shut down the Cities.exe. When the bar gets about halfway filled up, it stops and Chirper stops spinning. When I try to create a new game and pick a map, it goes to the loading screen with the bar filling up and Chirper spinning around.
